It was founded in 2015, to support the African and Nigerian development project with main focus on the manufacturing, medical and pharmaceutical industries. As Nigeria, and other African countries strive to become more self-reliant by increasing local production/manufacturing, the drive to achieve production excellence, at par with the rest of the world, would require sufficiently correct measurements, safety and quality compliant products which are essential to commerce.
